Are you prepared to take your GT500 to the next level of performance and aesthetics? After months of measuring, testing and validation the Archetype Racing Gladiator GT500 front splitter is finally here. Made completely from thermally bonded carbon composite and a direct bolt on to the front of your GT500 with no splitter rods or permanent modifications needed. I spent a lot of one on one time with Curtis at Archetype Racing going over the fitment, design, aesthetics, and functionality to ensure this was right for the GT500. Curtis has been great to work with and his military background in aerodynamics really produced a top-notch piece.

Early on I felt the GT500 lacked the level of aggression it deserved. With a great reputaion in GT350 aero I knew Archetype Racing was committed to developing components at a level equal to what a race team would demand, and quality Shelby owners would expect. Over the summer Archetype Racing and I invested considerable time and money into refining the Gladiator. Countless CAD revisions, physical installations/removals, 3D scanning of an actual GT500, and face time calls. Working in design elements that would complement the OEM splitter projections to maintain that aggressive Shelby front end.
.

The Gladiator was developed with those track enthusiasts in mind that wanted increased downforce and more aggressive looks for their GT500. This meant developing a splitter that would work in harmony with the factory splitter wickers used for road course endeavors. Long term the Gladiator will be part of a complete GT500 aerodynamics package that includes full length side splitters, a rear diffuser, hood vent, and custom swan neck wing..

We understood the financial investment for the Predator is fairly high, and creating a motorsports quality piece that did not require permanent modification was the goal. With 28 individual attachment points on the Gladiator there is no need to use splitter rods to handle the downforce generated. Specialized mounting hardware was developed to allow installation and removal by the average enthusiast without the need for special tools, and allowing for some adjustability to ensure proper fitment. This means you can maintain the dual-purpose capabilities of the GT500 by removing the Gladiator for drag racing use. All while using the OEM mounting points

The incorporated wind fence prevents air from flowing in-between the gap of the factory splitter and the Gladiator. Specially designed to complement the curves and angles of the OEM splitter and wickers Dense carbon twill construction that has been consolidated more than the typical material adds rigidity, strength, and keeps the weight to a mere 13 lbs. It is what gives the splitter a more solid black look. For those with lowered cars or steep angles a special Delignit skid blocks can be added to the bottom of the splitter to absorb scrapes and bumps. This beech composite wood is 1/10th the weight of steel with the same wear properties. Serious track enthusiasts can opt for a fully radiused front splitter to increase the surface area and down force. All without exceeding the strength capabilities of the 28 fasteners.
.
.
At roughly 77” wide Gladiator is just that, one of the largest splitters on the market for any vehicle. The full retail cost on the base Gladiator is $2850.00. It can be optioned with the delignit for $3550.00 shipped.

With a finished product I feel is worthy of the GT500 I have worked with Archetype Racing and will be setting up an initial group buy with a substantial price break that gets better with the more participants. A 50% deposit needed to start your splitter build, and the rest when done in approximately 2 weeks after the group buy ends.
.
This group buy pricing will be good until Black Friday on November 20, 2020. In order to sign up please send me an Private Message, Direct Message, or email ([email protected]) with your name, email address and phone number, and if you want the delignit option. I will get back to you with an invoice to review and place a deposit.

Those in the GT500 crowd that did not come from a road race environment or GT350 may be unfamiliar with what a front splitter of this caliber costs. For those of you considering the cost of the front splitter I would encourage you to look at the cost of the OEM plastic unit for the GT350R/GT500. This is a much higher quality piece and substantially more material.

Road race, time attack, or hard park..... This is the splitter you want.
