Wheel locks are there to keep honest people honest. You can make the argument that if someone really wants the wheels they can flatbed the entire car away... but the average stoner isn't likely to have a flatbed when they are looking about desperately for something, anything to steal to make cash for their next fix.

I went with the Gorilla locks with the shell around the splined inner lock. It would take a reasonably serious tool kit to get these off, and by that time hopefully I will have noticed and stated my objection with my concealed carry.
Well of course but a lot of these "locks" can be taken off with a regular socket which defeats the purpose. The ones you posted don't look bad. No way a regular socket could get those off.

I highly doubt any 'stoner' would go looking for things to steal to buy weed...

Put mine on this afternoon, they look good and blend in well.

And the locks I showed are only about $15 on Amazon, just be sure to choose the 14mm by 1.5 ones: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CMH4BY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks Ian I bought a set of these and they look great. Really have to be looking for it to notice:

I've never had a problem with anyone trying to steal my wheels (and my car is parked in the garage most of the time anyway) but I figured it was cheap insurance.

Edit: just noticed you are in Melbourne... a bunch of us on this forum!
