I already have a lund ngauge but have never run e85 due to not upgrading my injectors. as this was a sizeable purchase and I have no problems with their actual tune, I won't be switching anytime soon. if I was a new customer I'd definitely go with the flex option because it would be nice to not always need 93, going on trips etc. I'm more than content with 87, and e85 for drag strip nights would be fun as well.

are you saying I can ignore their warnings and load the e85 tune and it will run because the car can handle it?

or are you saying you thought of a way around the limitation of the stock injectors, and they have not yet figured that part out, but theoretically one day they could find the same solution as you?

1. They are not saying you can just load any old E85 tune. Loading the Lund E85 tune without the equipment Lund specifies you need will not end well.

2. Basically they figured out how to use the senors the car is equipped with from the factory to adjust for octane on the fly up to E85 and integrated that into their tune. Depending on how novel their approach is others may or may not figure it out, or it may just take a while.

It won't be figured out....I can all but promise you that. There are about 23k tables that you have in your ECM and the access to the tables that we alter in the tune are large, complex and require a ton of experience with that brand controller.

Now that's amazing lol, I'm happy enough with torque management sorted out and clutch protection removed so I can run slicks without that kind of stuff holding the car back

Awesome, I see on your dyno graph it looks like your rev limit is around 7100 rpm, i understand the need to shift by 7000 with stock manifold but do your handhelds allow you to change rev limit? or do you guys up the limit to say 7400 or 7500 with request? I want to make sure im finishing in 4th gear at the track without hitting the rev limit lol

We do alter the rev and top speed limiters in our tuning. And if after that you would like them tailored further we absolutely do that for that!
