For anyone interested, here is the official video from the German MustangG6 event that myself and 6 other stangs from UK shores went to this June.

The road trip was fantastic, covering speeds in excess of 160mph, myself touching 150 on the autobahns...

Before anyone asks, yes speedo only goes to 160, so how possible? Well Ed Offer managed to do so, and said the car just kept on climbing past 160, so not really sure how fast he went, but it was a blurr!!

On top of that, we had walkie talkie's so plenty of banter between all 6 of us!! And some of the roads on route were just amazing in terms of landscape...

The venue was just perfect. Something straight out of a cowboy western movie, with saloon bars, gunslingin, horse and carriages! And with the Mustangs on the backdrop plus parade around venue was great.

Anyway, have a look at the vid if u get a chance.

my car has a cameo at 1.10mins...

Officially, my car (nicknamed 'Knight Rider') came in 8th out of around 400 odd cars for the best looking (could it be because of the LED scanner plus blasting out the theme tune, yup that could it)!!
In addition came in 3rd for the Loudest..
Ed came away with the prize for the loudest at an offical 114.8db (mine was 114.4db). Yea, UK beat Germany for a change!!!
Im sure they will be stangs on here with allegedly louder, but u shoulda come then innit! :p

All in all, was an amazing adventure with fantastic guys... basically like a stag do but with our cars too!!!
Just a couple of pics:

I would be well up for this next time it happens, would love to properly stretch the cars legs on the autobahn especially now the car pulls pretty strong in 6th gear I'd hope for a very long clear stretch to try and hit close to 200mph and film it haha, whilst being legal. :D

Just to gauge an interest and feedback to the organizers, how many of you guys would be interested in going to Germany next year on the next big Mustang G6 event?

Would be around June 2018 time...

I'd be up for this for sure... desperate to get to some UK/EU meets and see some of the good things people have done (every car out of the 11 that are over here apart from mine is bog standard as far as I'm aware)... boring b@3tards!

Glad u liked it mate, was a propa laugh!

So the walkie talkies were standard 10km range ones, nothing too fancy. Don't remember the model, can find out when i get back home later - one of the group members bought a bunch of them and dished em out to each of us.
They worked great as long as line of site wasn't more than a couple of km's.
