I guess it could be bogus but if it is its fairly elaborate and detailed.
May just be a GM rep having a bad case of the stupids because its hard to believe someone making that kind of call could actually believe a catch-can can cause a loss of oil pressure. But if that happened I can believe bureaucracy running amuck like this.
