Fuel smell in trunk

I'm loving my new 2015 GT, thanks for this great forum.

In the mornings I'm noticing a fuel smell in the trunk. Up front seems normal. This is after the car's sitting for a while.

I'm taking it in to be checked out, but thought it might be related to the capless gas tank or just a normal exhaust smell. Any thoughts?

Find your capless filler funnel and see if it smells like gas.

It's possible the vehicle was run out of fuel at the dealership or in transit before delivery and the funnel had to be used to put fuel in it.

If so, those plastic funnels will hold the smell and stink up your trunk.
