This is the locking mechanism and center console harness that comes on cars with the security package. I don't know if this is all you need to make it fully functional, but it is everything that comes in the center console and can be installed on any console lid. I'm including everything in the first picture. The second picture shows how to install it on the console lid. $50 shipped anywhere in the US.

How does it actually lock?
The motor pushes the large plastic piece underneath the hinge so that it blocks the path of the hinge. The large plastic piece is in the center, you can see it has arms on each side that go underneath each of the tabs.
