Brand - Borla
Model - S Type
Part Number - 140742BC
Other - Active, Black tips

MSRP - $2,381.99
My Price - $1,500 SHIPPED, $1,400 picked up

Up for sale is a 3" Borla cat back that utilizes mustang OEM active exhaust. It has the black exhaust tips. It is for 18-23 cars with the quad tip rear valance but should work on any S550 that has the correct valance. It includes all parts and clamps ready to bolt on. There is some build up on the outside of the tips but should clean off with some effort. It is visible in the pictures. Please look up the part number for additional details. I used this on my 2022 Mach 1. I am selling because I sold the car. I'm happy to answer any questions.

Would fit perfect on my Bullitt but I sometimes wonder if it'd be worth taking a chance as the stock exhaust sounds damn good as it is.

How would you compare it to your Mach 1 exhaust on loudness and tone/character?

This was a big consideration of mine before purchase, as well. I do not like the sound of a vast majority of aftermarket exhausts on Coyote cars. In general, the coyote is not a great sounding v8 and the stock active exhaust does a great job at making the sound the best it can.

With all that said, I bought the S Type with purpose as its mild. I raced the car at events where there was a sound limit of 108dB. This exhuast in track mode at full throttle was 104dB like clockwork. It was the perfect volume and perfect sound. I loved it.

I have some in car video if you think that would be helpful in making a decision. There is some wind noise, but you can still hear the car for the most part.

Sounds good ... have something from outside like a drive-off?

Too bad this wouldn’t work for a convertible. You should have no problem selling. Nice Mach 1. Hope you replaced it with something equally as nice.
