I guess everyone on here has had a whole bunch of friends wanting to have a ride in their new mustang.

But have you actually let them have a drive of the car as well? I'm thinking I might let a few have a go. Not sure about insurance coverage, will have to check it out. The look on some faces when they go to hop in the car will be priceless when I tell them that the steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car.

:)

I have let plenty of friends drive my car, just like all the other cars I have owned. I see no reason not to.

Sure there are some people I know that I wouldn't let drive my car, but that is the minority.

There's a couple of guys who I have already said yes to a drive. I know them well enough to trust. I am hoping most will be content with just a ride though!

Already let a couple of my mates take it for a spin.I wasn't even in the car, made them take their wives. They all came back with smiles, except the wives who had the look of fear on their faces?
Was worth it i thought!

Its a car, cars are meant to be driven. I am still waiting for my Sally but when we ordered we hadnt see a mustang let alone driven one. The lovely Tantash and her beautiful husband Hans drove all the way from perth to bunbury, having never met us to show off their new convertible, we nearly fell over when they said here go for a spin. Its the simple pleasures in life, life is far to short , smile while the going is good.

I like your style! :) I was going to let a friend take his wife and kids out in the car, thinking that would be safe, but I might have to re-access that option given your experience!:eyebulge:

I've let a couple of friends drive mine, no probs. They were not expecting it at the time. I just drove up the hills and then stopped and said you take over. They had a blast as they had never driven a mustang before.

Would you be as obliging with your classic cars?

Yes I will let my son and daughter have a drive, son's nearly 30 and daughter is 25 so no issues there. One of my daughters friends just bought a BMW M235i and he has already offered me a drive of that so I think I can let him drive the Mustang, his is a little quicker.
