Ford Racing TPMS

I ordered Ford Racing TPMS 161-M-1180-B from Steeda back in Nov, 2015 and ordered Velgen wheels at the same time. I live in the Northeast where it has been cold and decided to hold off until last week to install the wheels.

I had my tire shop install the Velgen wheels with NT05 tires. I know the sensors looked perfect when I received them but I think they busted one of them during the install. Today I received a TPMS error on my car and tried using the programmer to program the TPMS and only 2 out of 4 would beep. I'm hoping that they didn't bust 2 of the sensors. I didn't want to argue with them since I caught them right before they closed and figured if anything I'll order a replacement or use one of the factory wheels if anything until I get a replacement and just be sure to be there next time they work on my car or just use someone else.

Now my question is if 2 TPMS sensor is busted shouldn't the others still show the tire pressure?

Has anyone else had issues with TPMS from Ford Racing?

When I parked in my driveway last night the system picked up the TPMS from my factory wheels and reset but then gave me the indication again when I was close to my job which is about 20 miles

it picked up the frequency from your factory tpms, which means these tpms units you have arent reading so there are a few things.

1. frequency can be wrong
2. bad sensors in general


Seems they need to be changed brotha.

Update

Picked 4 new sensors from the dealership. They were the same frequency as the ones I already had. I'm thinking since 1 was busted that's why I was getting the error. I'm keeping the others as backup, it was just weird that it couldn't pickup the other 3 just because 1 was busted
