Ford Extended Service Plans

My car is due to arrive in the next couple weeks, and I am trying to get an idea of what the Ford extended service plan looks like.

For those of you who purchased the ESP how much did it cost? Were you able to negotiate them down?

Here's a link someone else posted - from what I gather you can definitely negotiate cost.

I paid about $2,400 for 5yr/100,000 plan. But most important, mine has 100% buyback if I don't use the extended warranty. Since I also have mechanical breakdown insurance from Geico which essentially covers the same thing, I just got the Ford one for added security.

Sorry, I got the 6 year/100,000 mile plan for $2,385

Wish Ford had lifetime warranty options like Mopar does
