Is the Gen II capable of more power?

HP only goes up by 10HP but torque is up an additional 120 @ 470TQ. :hail:

Thanks everyone! Based on this feedback, it's way ahead as my #1 option for the next family ride.

A catch can is a must have...prepare yourself for black tailpipes and dirty looking oil. Nothing bad IMHO, just be aware.

No shit? Is the Gen II going into the Explorer Sport going to have those specs? I thought that was specifically for the F150.

According to the insider guys on the EX forums and FB pages, it's coming. We may just trade up depending on how the restyle will be. They may do what happened to the Mustang, drop the engine a year beforehand. Its just a matter of time and when. Call me weird but i'm not a fan of the 16 external refresh hence why we opted for a 15 instead.

13-16 ex sport are mechanically the same. Just a change in bling on the 16's

Looks very Range Rover Sportish.

I really like the new gen Explorers. Ford did a real nice job with them.
