For those that paid for installation on your FI system w/ custom tune.

When you had your systems installed, and you went with a custom tune. Was that something the shop took care of? Let's say I go with Lund custom FI tune.

Would the shop be in contact with Lund to get everything running and setup? I'm sure this would be extra, but is that normal for the shop to take over communications with Lund to install the custom tune?

Looking to get everything ready for the install and want to know what to expect so I have everything ready when the time comes.

Definitely would be up to your installer/tuner but I got my install by Ken at HPR and I’m tuned by Wengerd and their preferred method was the communicate with each other. Made it a lot easier for me.

When we do custom FI packages with other tuners we recommend doing the back and forth with the tuner. Much better to give the customer the finished product especially after spending so much money.
