I have noticed that if you have fog lights turned on and then apply a turn signal, the fog light under that turn signal will temporarily turn off so the turn signal is more visible.

I recently had my turn signals integrated into my upper grill so this "interference" or whatever this lighting technique is called, is no longer needed on my car.

Basically: How to I keep my fogs on while my turn signals are also on?

There is a config change you can make with ForScan which will change the behavior of the turn signal/foglight. I do not know if it has been tested on Mustangs but it won't hurt anything if you wanted to try it. Look at the ForScan thread for more information.

Would you happen to have a link to it? I'm on mobile (I dont own a desktop) and the search function doesn't allow me to type in it.

Also, from a quick google search, ForScan seems to be a plug in sensor that I'd have to order. Is there anything that would be a faster fix? I'm wondering if a dealer could fix it.

The only way to do it is to reconfigure the ECU, your dealer MAY do this for you if they know what they are doing, but I doubt they will. They pretty much just know how to load the stock config and that's it. No modifying or anything. And yes, you need to buy a module to connect the car to ForScan. They range from $20 for cheap wired ones to $80-100 for a nice bluetooth adapter.

Here is the thread, it is very long but the info you need is in the first post.

I tested it myself and it works. I hate the way they made it IMO... I can assure you it works perfectly. My fogs doesn't turn off whenever I put my indicator on.
