Hi folks,

This is my first post. I just purchased a used 2017 GT California Special in lightning blue. Such an awesome car.

One problem I discovered after getting home: neither front turn signal works (as turn signal or hazard lights.) The rear lights work as expected. When I engage the turn signals, the clicking is a strange repeating pattern; not evenly spaced clicks. Perhaps another clue: the fog lights also don't seem to work either.

I have scheduled a trip to the local dealer to take a look but I can't get over there until Thursday. It should be under warranty but if it is something easy like a fuse I would rather do it myself soon rather than wait until later in the week.

Anyone have any ideas? The manual doesn't SEEM to call- out any fuses that sound like they apply.

Can you snap a picture of what lights you are referring too ? The light location on theses things can be deceiving .

More than likely the previous owner installed cheap LEDs in the turn signal housings or took out their LEDs and never put in factory bulbs. You will want to get yourself a set of REGULAR AMBER INCANDESCENT BULBS (not gimmick BS LED crap) and that'll probably fix you up just fine. I'd have a stern talking to with the dealership about their pre-sale checks. Dealerships are not allowed to sell cars that do not meet basic highway code (i.e., non-working turn signals).

Then my turn signal arm is activated, nothing is lit or blinking on the front of the car other than headlights.

Headlights blinking ? Try disconnecting they battery for 10 min then recheck . The bcm controls lighting functions on these things .

Hopefully you bought from Ray Skillman. Should be a warranty issue even if previous owner modded the lights. Service Manager there is great guy and is very service oriented...and a lover of muscle cars.

This is an old post but wanted to close it out in case someone has the same problem. It simply turned out to be a wiring harness that had come undone. The dealer said they had to remove the bumper to get to it but got it reconnected and I have had no subsequent problems.

Question is why was the wiring harness disconnected in the first place? Was it wrecked previously, did they remove the bumper for repairs etc..? That is what I would be asking.

I appreciate you updating the post. I just picked up a used 2019 and after getting home realized the fog lights and turn signals weren't working. Unfortunately dealership I bought from is 2 1/2 hours away so taking to my local dealership Monday. The only dang thing I didn't inspect before buying. I thought the odd sound the flashers were making was because of the sequential turn signals, but nope
