I did have this posted somewhere else but wanted more feed back..Thank you to those that responded to that post...

I am running my first track night in a couple of weeks, 7/18. I'm super stoked for it. I do have questions though...

I have a 2020 GT Premium PP1 with Magna-ride. I am looking at getting new rotors and pads just can't pull that trigger after buying everything for the event. I have heard power stops are good, also Hawk. I also have a set of "Premium Slotted Rotors" at buybrakes.com
I would also like to know if there is a good middle ground for pads and rotors, I want to get something that will do great on track that I can continue to run when I take the wife out on a date...

With the Magna-Ride, are there any upgrades that can/should be done?

Wheels and tires are in the future too...4 point harness, tow hook...all the "accessories" to make me feel better about myself, but make my car track ready as well...with how enthusiastic I am before the track I can only imagine how deep I'll get after...

I like my rear spoiler, will a wicker bill with gurney flap be worth the money or would a spoiler swap be more applicable? I want functional mods...I will be staying N/A as well.

Any other advice for getting started in this?

With power, is porting my current manifold better than picking up a 302 or the like?

If this is your first track event, I would really focus on seat time. Trust me, your car is more than capable to be driven on a track. Upgrade as your skills improve and you are able to extract more and more performance out of the car. Regarding brake pads, I would highly advice staying away from Power Stop Track Day pads. They are cheap and cheap. For a track day and driving around occasionally, I recommend G-Loc R10 (front) and R8 (rear).

With that said, if you do get bit by the bug and decide tracking your Mustang is for you (and I hope you do), I would 100% say get a Garmin Catalyst or other performance data recorder. You will gain more speed and lower lap times from this at this stage of your tracking career than you will with brake pads and rotors.

Next mod should be tires. Don't worry about aero and downforce until you have some good RT660+, Cup 2's, or RE-71RS tires mounted up.
