First sighting in VA

I finally spotted another GT500, it was a black one on the west end of 610 in Stafford. Doubtful but I wonder if the owner is on here. Funny that the first one is near where I live.

When I ordered mine, I had never seen one around here. Then all of a sudden I've seen 5. Black, race red, rapid red, white, and white cftp. And now my Velocity blue... all in little town in WV. Imagine that! Lol

Funny how you see them in unexpected places, I am surprised as I normally see any "new" car in my area fairly quickly. For instance, shortly after the C8 came out, I saw one and since have seen every single color. However, it has been over a year since the GT500 came out and finally saw my first one a few miles from my house of all places.

I had to end up going to a dealership to finally see a GT500 in person, which of course turned into me buying one a few weeks later! I wonder if the one I saw was one of the black ones I initially considered as there were two dealerships which had black ones. One of the reasons I did not end up with the black was due to both having the normal seats, I wanted the Recaros as not only do they look amazing, they are VERY comfortable! The other car I almost bought was a race red with black stripes, it sold before I found my current car. Although, in a way I am happy I did not end up with it as while it looked very nice, it would have been a cop magnet!

Still never seen a gt500 where I live but have seen 4 or 5 c8s. Couple 350rs around here still.

I have only seen 1 in the wild if you exclude our local Shelby Club drives. There are a few of us in the club with 2020-2021 GT500s but I never see any out and about otherwise. Just the one.

I suspect most people are selective on when they drive them, however even on weekends I am surprised that I haven’t seen one until now.
I have seen only a few people react, one was another Mustang and the guy screamed which was funny, and the other was a young lady who gave me thumbs up and yelled, nice GT500...caught my wife and I off guard.

I have seen tons of C8s and pretty much any new "special" car on a daily basis. Houston has plenty of people with money and seeing Ferrari, Lambo, etc. is not unusual. I see GT350s about twice a month. The 500 is a rare bird. To see one is rare. I guess only being just over 5000 for 2020 produced and the 2021 just now getting to market, they are still kind of limited numbers.

Funny thing is I live in a very small town (10,000 people) and I have seen a FPB CFTP GT500 motoring around a couple of times now.
