Well just got back from Atco. Weather wise it was a terrible night for racing. DA=+2200. Humidity was 95%. And the temp was 92 at 6pm. Car ran real good considering. I was easily one of the fastest street cars there. I recently installed a Beefcake 900hp kit on my 15 Automatic. The car already had a few bolt ons. With headers/Full exhaust and a Circle D 4 C converter. These runs will be 10.2-10.3 runs in a couple of weeks. when the DA is negative 1500! Looking forward to some low 10 second runs in a few weeks.

It's a beefcake 900hp Paxton kit.on 93 octane. We were making datalogs for the lund tune transmission strategy. So it was shortshifting the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. (Shifting at 6800 instead of 7500) Probably lost a 10th or two there. But Lund looked the files over and sent a 3rd. Revision that should be set on kill now! Suspension is all stock. except a Steeda stop the hop kit. Tires out back are Nitto NTO5rs 18X45X305s. It's a premium auto.With big heavy 20 inch wheels up front.. And I weigh about 265. So race weight is close to 4100 pounds.

That is a pretty tall rear tire your running almost 29” what rear gear do you have?

Gear is 3.55. Car sixties good. 1.52-1.62. And it has plenty of run out on the top end.

launches great, what kind of IATs are you seeing on the top end with it being summer? I would have expected a higher trap speed, but you may limited on 93 and that could be it. IATs can make a big difference on pump gas as it is really temperature sensitive.
Get the shifts and TC dialed in, and come fall, you might be surprised by a 9.

There is certainly more left in the car. It should be trapping over 130 in the heat. My car went 10.8 at 132 with 3.6 paxton 93 octane stock stall 19" nt05r radials in similar DA.

Honestly I think the car shifting at 6800 killed the trap speed more than anything. Thats a lot of useable horsepower from 6800RPMs to 7500RPMs that wasn't getting used. After looking at the logs for these two runs. Lund increased the shift points on the 3rd. Tune revisions to 7500RPM for all gears. After he was happy that everything looked solid. So im expecting very good things in a few weeks when I go back.

just seen this, I run at atco pretty often. that mph looks pretty low for all the mods who's tuning the car? on a crazy hot day I was trapping 129 on pump gas with shit 60fts 1.8s car has trapped as high as 138 on pump also at atco.
