First Euro-specs build date assigned! 04/20/2015

Since I don't see any similar thread probably this is the first assigned build date
Today my dealer announced me that they received an order number and build date from Ford. Unfortunately we in Europe will not have VIN assigned or something similar, but it's a very good news either!
I placed my order on 01/27/2015, just a week after Ford opens orders for Europe. I couldn't order earlier because noone knows anything about ordering a Mustang

Yes, dealer doesn't know what other data means..
He only told me that I am in the first batch, but at the time he said delivery will be around august/september. Now I hope it will be earlier

I don't think you were one of CL buyers...Suppose these guys will be earlier in the line and should have a delivery date or more precise info as they are supposed to be priority customers...:eyebulge:

My dealer confirmed that the CL buyers and showroom cars have already build dates assigned. Other orders are confirmed but no build dates yet but think they will follow soon. Dealer priority is still a unanswered question and confusing that this weeks orders on the European wait list... are getting delivered in April/May 2016, so 2015 orders must over in Europe.
When I ordered in Feb the first dealer told me I could get one in Jan 2016, while the second dealer got me in on the Sept 2015 delivery... this EU launch confuses me day by day!

It's right that you are confused, because dealers and also Ford Europe is confused.

My dealer told me that he heard all the news about Mustang.. from me!

I am thinking that, related to this, at least at 20th of April (but probably before!) Flat Rock plant begins the production of euro-spec model. This could mean that euro/rhd models will continue until august when they switch to MY2016?
Or, since MY2016 seems to be almost identical (apart for some color and interior finishes) will they continue perhaps with rhd model in 2016 production..?

I will call my dealer the next monday to ask for news.

However, if they already started to build euro spec cars, shouldn't we know that? Mustang6g is always up-to-date with news and announcements from the factory..

This is great news... it seems Europe is getting delivery before Australia, which makes sense since most of Europe is Left-Hand Drive
