Does the car make less power with the exhaust in standard mode?

Unscientifically to me it feel like its slower in normal mode then sport.

Additional from sport to track I feel like the throttle response(and maybe power?) is noticeably different.

The sport mode clearly has a faster throttle response. I drive in sport basically all the time for that reason (and the exhaust!).

Throttle response increases significantly in Sport and Track but that's based on the Driving Mode but not from the exhaust valves being open or closed. You can flip the exhaust to sport via Exhaust Mode and no change will happen.

After taking a drive today, I realized my GT350 actually has 4 exhaust modes, each with a different sound and level.

1) Normal
2) Normal with rear seats down
3) Sport
4) Sport with rear seats down

Anyone else notice this?

I have had the seats down once and it did sound ridiculous (in a good way).

In terms of it being faster in sport mode it is definitely 'better' in sport mode, I suspect with suspension and throttle response being adjusted it just makes it feel/act that way.

I drive in sport mode about 90% of the time, only real exception is in the rain.
