I currently have SW 1 7/8 headers No Cats with factory connect with Corsa Extreme catback exhaust. I want to quiet the car down but dont know which exhaust would help that with no cats and 1 7/8 headers. My car is so loud now its obnoxious. Any feedback on which exhaust to go with without changing the headers?

Swap the Corsa Sport mufflers (part of your Xtreme catback) for the Corsa Touring mufflers.

It will some but if you want it quiet compared to now cut the rear X off and weld in two long bullet style resonators right behind the front X that will tame the rasp and quiet it down.

They will drop the volume by approx. 6 dB...that's a lot. It'll still be very loud, though, but much quieter compared to what you have.

Yes, I went through the exact same problem. Headers with the extreme is racecar loud. The touring mufflers are much more manageable. Still sounds great too.

I would get the touring mufflers and then see how you like it. If its too loud then weld in some resonator bullets inline somewhere and it should be better. I have cat deletes with the mbar street and ended up welding inline vibrant resonators on the h-pipe and it helped tremendously.
