I know a lot of people are saying do the clamp on the H-pipe exhaust installation if there are more modification needs to be done. But lets say I am trying to drive the car stock and only want to install the K brace under the car. Is it okay to wield the H-pipe and then in the future install the K brace? Would the exhaust get in the way of the exhaust? I am car dumb, please kindly educate me. Thank you.

My car have the factory k-brace (which I highly recommend, since I have driven also cars without it. To me it makes a bigger impact than the strut tower brace - which I don't have, but I have the cowl brace) and it does not get in the way of the exhaust.

It's way way forward in the car, more where the power steering unit is.

So basically, I can wield the H-pipe and then install K Brace later?

Yes, sure. This one is from Steeda, but it's just to show you how plenty of clearance there is.

Oh okay, thank you for responding back with the pic. I am so sorry like I said, I am really a car dummy.

Luca1290 provided some great advice.

I have the strut bar, upper and lower factory K-brace plus the small firewall reinforcement on my vert. I added the Steeda 2-point lower bar (not the 4-point bar shown) and it works fine plus it was easier to install.

Keep asking questions, people on the Convertible Group are friendly and willing to help.

The clamps are strong enough - welding is an option but isn't necessary. I have been running the H-Pipe on my car for 2 years with the Steeda-supplied clamps & all good.

Install with confidence!
