Hi, I was hoping to ask if anyone had any experience in this issue.

I love the look of the larger tires they manage to fit in the US! I know performance wise they are not the best, I just love the look.

I live in QLD and I understand our dept transport limit is 15mm larger diameter than the largest factory option.

Unfortunately the rear size I want (315/35/20) is 25mm larger than factory (275/40/19)

Numerous posts on this site state they can be done on a mild drop without having to muck around with camber or any major alterations.

I wanted to know how much of an issue it would be to exceed this limit. I am assuming it would be deemed unroadworthy and insurance void?

Given that this tire size has been safely used in the US, is there any way to apply for this modification to be approved to retain roadworthiness / insurance cover?
