Euro S550 tail lights - why clear?

There´s nothing in European regulations that forbids sequential turn signals - just look at Audi's and VW's.


The problem is that brake lights / tail lights must be visible all the time. Mustang sequential turn signal disables them.

There is in the UK, you can’t have separate bulbs doing sequential turn signals, Audi get away with it as it’s classed as one bulb even though it’s a row of leds

I wasn't initially a fan of the clear tail lights.

I've since changed my mind and think they look particularly good on the darker colours.

Having said that, would love to have sequentials.
