Estimated Delivery Question

I am new to ordering a car and checking online but my Estimated Delivery is 7/26/15
It says 48 days to delivery but my order isn't even in production yet. It's still order processing.
How accurate are those estimates?
How long was your Production time?

They're just estimated dates. You can pm ford service for a build week. Your probably 7/13 with me. Nothing will change until you get to your build week when it will go into production. It's a bummer but a bunch of us got delayed for a plant shutdown and Europ orders.

Same boat here guys I ordered on the 26th of May EDD 7/28. I have my VIN# but no build week yet. I PM'd Ford Service but they have not responded.

Ordered May 25th. Got my VIN and EDD of 8/1. Now when I search by VIN the order that comes up is for a GT with the exact same options but a different color and for a dealership in another state. The order # and the VIN are the same and when I try to search my order #, dealership code and last name it comes up as an invalid order. Slightly concerned about it as I obviously don't want any extra delays in my order. I sent a PM to fordservice and I'm going to call the dealership today to see if they can figure anything out.

That would freak me out also. I would definitely call the dealer ASAP. I don't think you have the correct order # from your dealer. That's my guess. Who knows, once you get the correct order number if this is the issue, your EDD may move closer.

I went to my dealer and ordered my Mustang on 4/8. It reached the dealer yesterday (6/10) and I picked it up. So, it took my car 9 weeks from order to delivery. My build week was 5/11, and I believe I was one of the later deliveries for that build week. Some orders were delivered in 6 weeks, most came in by 8 weeks, and there are a few that are still waiting for their cars, which I hope they get soon. My EDD date on COTUS changed 6 times. It is tough to wait, but it will be worth it. Good luck.
