Here's some pics I took today, after using Plasti-Dip Anthracite on my emblems and hood scoops, and detailing this weekend as follows:
1. Wash with Dawn to remove wax from last week's detail
2. Full clay bar with Optimum Opti-Clay
3. Full machine polish using Griot's 6" random orbital polisher with Blackfire SRC Compound to remove micro scratches and swirls that came with the car
4. Wash/dry to remove polish particulates
5. Seal with Optimum Opti-Seal
6. Wax with two coats Collinite 845 Insulator Wax
7. Finish King 425 Extra Slick Final Body Shine to reduce static and repel dust.

Ruby Red is just a kick-ass gorgeous color.

Other exterior mods include 20% tint all around, Xpel clear bra, and Roush axle-back mufflers.

This weekend, I attempt to install the dual narrow dark silver metallic stripes with dark matte gray pinstripes from BigWormGraphix!

Dang your Stang looks good. I've got my Pony, etc. blacked out with black PlastiDip but I'm going to seriously look at the anthracite flavor. Did you have to purchase it online?

Yes, got it from DipYourCar.com. Some places may have it, but the Pep Boys I checked here didn't have the metallic colors. I really like it because it is close to the black plastic trim pieces, which are really more of a dark gray than black.

I'm gonna order a can. It takes out the chrome but has a nice contrast to black in the front and rear especially. I've got me a little weekend project.

Just ordered it. Thanks for the heads up. I like the black PlastiDip but I think the Anthracite color will give a little contrast to the black grill and black rear end.

You have to spend some serious coin to outdo a $19.95 bottle of Collinite 845. If chemical Guys repackaged it and put some of their fancy branding on it with a fruity scent it would easily sell for 50 plus a bottle.
