For anyone who is following this, got the car back first thing today, a full day early. Apparently parts got in a day early. The service advisor said they are using a new part for the evap core that should prevent future failures on all these 15/16's that are failing.

To me... that should be a recall. Not a "wait and see if it breaks" part. But I guess that's on Ford.

For the record, I have a GT/CS, so not actually leather where you are sitting. However, I still highly enjoy my "premium" seats. They are quite comfortable. And without them my head would be touching the roof. The 6-way adjustments allow me to drop the seat to a comfortable level.

My 3-zone Explorer AC has worked for years, 2 zone in my F-150 also worked for years, and in the Mustang apparently is working fine at controlling zones but was actually leaking coolant causing the temperature differences.

So yeah, I think troll is the right definition. Trash talking random peoples decision to buy things you either (a) just don't like or (b) couldn't afford. But, you appear to be doing well at it so here. Have a troll trophy. :first:

There are numerous posts on this very forum how the premium seats are junk. The "leather" is fake, thin, and wears horribly. There are multiple reported issues in this very thread that back up my statements. Your very own post backs up my AC comment, along with the OP.

This discussion has nothing to do with being Ford fanboys but you just being a dick. The leather is fake and thin, which is to be expected for a sub 40k car so nothing new there. Still better than the non-Recaro cloth seats. The vast majority of leather owners have seats that are wearing just fine including myself.

And again, the widespread AC evaporator core failures are common amongst the basic and dual-zone AC systems so having a stripper model doesn't make your car any more reliable.
