Mine are done in leather...he stitches a new cover in exactly the same stitching and pulls them over and glues! They can be removed if the next owner does not like them! We are coming to NH Sept 28th to visit friends in Laconia!! Where are you from there??VooDoo,
I'm doing the headrests in my car as well, just haven't decided what I'm doing yet. anyway, embroidering leather is a pretty specialized and it's hard to find vendors that are really good at it. One of the good ones is JPM, I've used them before for some parts in my Sky Roadster and they did a great job. You can check them out at www.jpmcoachworks.com, they specialize in automotive interior work. Also try to find a good local vendor as well, I found one here in NH, they redid my entire Sky interior last year and it came out great.
That looks great! I'll do mine in leather as well just don't know the design yet. I'm in Hampstead, NH, Laconia is about 65 miles north of me or about an hour and a half. Laconia is famous for "bike week", every year a couple hundred thousand bikers enjoying the area, its pretty cool.Mine are done in leather...he stitches a new cover in exactly the same stitching and pulls them over and glues!
