Ecoboost Hold/Recall "West Coast"

Greetings!

Anyone encountered problems locating or receiving their Ecoboost Mustang?

For nearly 3 weeks, Northern California dealerships reported Ecoboost Mustangs are on "hold" at a local storage site (last drop-off point from railroad transportation).

I created a similar thread in the "Order" Forum and did not receive a response...

I appreciate the prompt response. I called your dealership and spoke to a manager.

The "Hold" / "Recall" maybe related to manual transmission models. I secured a dealer stock model and its sitting in storage for 3 weeks. An alternate local dealership reported the same "hold" on a manual Ecoboost too.

The dealership where I secured the vehicle, advised "Hold" / "Recall" was the entire West Coast and would not disclose a reason.

Unfortunately your dealership does not anticipate an Ecoboost Manual for a few weeks. You guys have my information if a manual Ecoboost arrives.

I would imagine that it would have something to do with emissions if it is only California ECO's being held, or some other government hold. i don't think that there is a recall on the transmissions. don't have news on that, and that there is a "3 week hold" means that it is not related to a recall.

Thanks for the insight. I do not know the scope of emissions, but today NC Ford received "auto" Ecoboost models.

Navigating through Ecoboost performance sub-forum, I see few manual Ecoboost vehicles. I maybe biased but appears majority are testing products on automatic transmission version??
