Due to the previous owner running on a bad rear alignment (positive camber) my stock rear tires are down to the wear bars on the outside of the tires, i have considered replacing just those 2 tires which is still an option but i'm also contemplating upgrading to all new tires since im not particularly fond of the stock tires. I had original g-force kdw on my fox and liked them and i see where the kdw2 have recently been discontinued and can be had at a good price.
My car is stock height and plan to remain at stock height. I recently purchased the 25mm front/ 23mm rear group buy spacers to run with my wheels.
I'm curious to know the tire fitment of 285 35 19 on 9" wheels, i see some people have problems with the 285 on 9" wheels. i run that same combo on my truck with a much larger sidewall obviously with no issues.
What if any disadvantages would occur if i run a 285 35 19 square setup vs say a 285/35 rear and 245 40 front?
in addition how awkward would a 275 35 19 look on the stock ride height? it's about .5" shorter diameter than stock.
thoughts and comments are appreciated!
