Being in Phoenix, they dry up in a few days meaning that they don't dissolve and my dish washer only takes that garbage.
I have to run the sink to soften it, otherwise I get a flakey undissolved gel thing.

Lived in Phoenix since pods were invented and never had that happen. It sounds like a brand issue. What brand are you using so the rest of us can avoid?

I can't remember. That Costco green bucket one. Cascade? The blue one paired with Jet Dry works much better.
