I was searching for a good and effective wheel cleaner online and came across couple of them and 1 of them was the dub cleaner. I found it at my local Walmart and it was around $9 a bottle. After using this product and following instructions step by step, I can say that it SUCKS! I have a 2015 PP GT with the black gloss wheels. First of all, it does not even clean the wheels like it should and I wash my car mostly every week so I have very little brake dust. I sprayed the bright neon green dub cleaner on the wheels and let it sit for 2 min. I rinsed it off with high pressure water and it got maybe 20% of the brake dust off. The worst part was that it left some nasty stains on the wheels that I had to polish out afterwards.

You want to clean your wheels the easy way, forget about it. Old fashion water soap and microfiber cloth and some wax over it after you are done Works great but it is time consuming.

What made you inclined to try anything with DUB on it?

DUB is made by Meguiars. The tire shine product works pretty well. I havent found a wheel cleaner yet that you dont have to use some elbow grease with.

A lot of companies make off brands they sell in Walmart that are consumer grade. It doesn't mean they are all that good vs. just buying the major brand, Meguiars here, at the pro levels from autogeek etc. They aren't any more expensive getting the pro stuff.

In fact the pro stuff in bulk was way cheaper. For example I got a gallon of Meguiars detail spray (the pro level stuff) for $23. That's 128 oz. A bottle in the store costs $9 for 16 oz. You do the math- it's 8 bottles or $72 for what I paid $23 for.

the store crap is for people who go through automatic carwashes weekly and have never clayed or polished their car; maybe never even waxed. Soccer mom level stuff And typically a rip off price-wise.

I got SONAX wheel cleaner from autogeek.net with their tire cleaning brushes. I use the SONAX once very three washes or so. It works fantastic! Removes the brake dust easily and the brushes work great to get in behind the spokes and clean the back side of the rim. About 3-5 minutes of work per wheel and it looks like new.

I started using this on my Focus ST because it had the worst brake dust you've ever seen.

3-5 min I can clean it by hand. I want something that I can spray on that can clean all of the brake dust with ease.

I don't mean spending 3-5 minutes cleaning - just soaking. I spray one wheel, then move on to the others. By the time I come back to wheel 1, I can use my Speed Brush to get in the tight corners and inside rim in a few moments. Cleaning by hand won't be as affective, especially for cleaning the inside of rim behind the face - you really need a brush for this. I can't explain how well this works so look at this:
