My best so far on E45 has been a 5.06. Out of the box beefcake special vortech with 10r80, I'm running it pretty conservative at 16.5* timing. My race weight was 4020 pounds.

10R80 is amazing for 60-130 accel. My 3.15’s and 28” tire kills my 60-130 after the shift to 3rd......

Yes I agree it works very well. I was surprised by the results. I had a 6r80 3.15 car so I know what you mean.
