I don't know about the Camaros, but they definitely did ship Z07s during the winter, which resulted in a bunch of them cracking and consequently being replaced under warranty.

Yup... that's why I stated GM learned the hard way. Bottom line, it's good Ford isn't taking the risk. There's a good reason why those Cup 2 tires are for "warmer/summer" only.

^^^ I think when i go through these tires I will most likely put some other rubber on them for the winter...not that I will drive it in the snow...etc... more for just the cold temp cracking the tires...if these tire are going to quit on me by winter I will were them out before that happens......I think you know what I mean ..lol

question...does anyone know why Ford is not building any R's during the winter months? I never heard of such a thing....what about the southern states...i.e TEXAS we drive all year round except for 1-2 winter days...please details anyone....

No, you're local Ford dealer would have to have either earned an allocation or, won an allocation via lottery. Then there's the whole ADM aspect.
