I remember when Lexus debuted that on their RX SUV. Thought it was pretty cool.

But nope, ours do not.
I remember when Citroën mass-production-debuted that on their DS21. In 1967.

On the Mustangs, the the foglamp will turn off in the direction you switch the turn signal to, reducing the light output into the turn you're making. They do this presumably to increase the visibility of the blinking signal light to oncoming drivers.

Not a big deal, since the light output from the HID's is quite adequate in the driver's field of view.

You may have noticed, on many late-model cars with LED headlight accents, that these turn off when a turn signal goes on; a distractingly cross-eyed look. Some of the few cars without this distraction are newer Benzes, where the LED accents (or a segment thereof) turn amber and blink.

I remember when Citroën mass-production-debuted that on their DS21. In 1967.
And the Federal Gooberment had them all disabled because we, apparently, couldn't understand the usefulness. Back then the european's had good disk brakes on everyday cars and we were still adjusting our drum brakes
