Did a search ;-)

2020 Mustang GT Premium, Sync3, digital display. If you look at the 1:20 mark here: you see what I am interested in - namely the display of the song title in the top center of the digital display. This video is for a 2019 I believe.

I am using a MyMode setup and when I press the "Audio Button" on the steering wheel I have the ability to select presets across all bands. But regardless of whether I select the band/channel from the Sync3 screen or using the Audio Button on the steering wheel via the digital display I never see a song title though it does display on the Sync3 screen.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Pete

On mine the title only pops up when the song changes. I'm not aware of any other options there. In the video it looks like he's on a sports radio station that keeps sending title changes out.

Thanks. I should have mentioned this car is an auto and my read is that this is for manual only. And from your pic I can see why. My MyMode is based on a Normal display with changes for exhaust, steering, and magne ride.

Bingo. You are correct! that digital display song title area does not initially seed upon startup with the current song title. The first change does the trick. Weird - to me - but OK. I had been mucking with so many settings I never drove it far enough to see a song change. Thanks.

What mode is your display set to? IIRC it only constantly displays the song title in “normal”, with the sport or track display it only shows the title for a few seconds upon the song changing.

My MyMode happens to be based on Norma - though I do want to change it to Sport+. What I also discovered that, at least for me, the song title shows up only for Apple Car Play. It may also if you connect via BlueTooth, but I don't plan to do that. It seems, again for me, that the song title does not show up under Sync3 control - that is - for AM/FM/Sirius. All of that is shown only on the Sync3 screen.

I don’t use Apple CarPlay or Bluetooth to stream music, usually XM or a physical USB stick I have plugged in. Both methods have the song name always displayed on the digital gauge cluster in my 401a 2019 GT.

Which audio button lets you get all bands, on my 2019 manual trans using steering controls I only get the 6 channels on the band I am on, be great to be able to get all 3 bands from the steering wheel.

Hmmm... The song title always shows up in the main Sync3 screen, but not always in the digital guage cluster. Maybe a SW glitch in 2020. It’s a nit admittedly.

I know this is an old thread, but I have this issue. I have the digital display, and when listening to Sirius it never displays the music playing. I sometimes get a musical note icon but that's it. Now if I'm streaming a podcast from my phone it works perfectly. I normally use MyMode but it's based off of normal mode. This is something I'd like to see fixed but I have no idea where to start.
It's a used 2020 Mustang Eco manual, fairly fully loaded. Any ideas?
