For anyone considering this mod here is a before/after picture. My taillights (including backup light) have the Anchor Rooms light tint so I wanted a brighter backup light. The top is the regular bulb, bottom is the LED.
Super simple. It literally took longer for my garage door to close than it did to change the bulb. I'll add a nighttime picture later.
I'm waiting for my switchbacks and interior lights to arrive. Great product!

Yes, their lights are awesome. I did the interiors and trunk. Big difference. After seeing this, I might do this also.

I did this too and I love it.

Interior too except I still haven't replaced the vanity mirror bulbs and glove box. Those aren't as easy!

I replaced all my interior lights including vanity and glove box. I found that removing the vanity mirror made things easier for me. I removed the lens covers then removed the 2 screws, 1 above each light, and pulled the mirror off. You have to make sure when you re-install it that you close the cover first so that the little post on the cover goes above the lever on the micro-switch otherwise the lights will not light.
This took me all of about 5 minutes to do. Everything is good except I seem to have 1 bad LED bulb. Got an email into DD about it.
Changed out my turns signals for DD switchback LEDs as well. Love the modern look!

Try flipping the bulb 180*. The vanity lights require a specific polarity to function correctly

But we will get you taken care of if it is indeed defective

Thanks!

+1 I suggested this procedure to DD already a few months ago for their instructions/videos. Much much easier to pop the 2 screws and the vanity mirror and then you are not trying to wedge the bulb in and out at a tough angle. I broke a bulb trying to get it in there before realizing the mirror comes right out in 2 seconds giving you plenty of room to work.

Besides a cue-ball shifter this was my only mod and it's WELL worth it. Besides looking correct under the awesome LED tail lights it lights everything up better.

Does anyone have a line on non-switch back LEDs for the turn signals?

We have single color replacements as well, but you'll have to send an email to: [email protected] for more pricing information.

Just a heads up, the socket design on the 2015 Mustang is very unique, so you'll need a bulb specifically designed for it.

Otherwise you'll experience fitment issues and have bulbs falling out of the socket

Yeah, I tried all the steps in your online troubleshooter, even tried the other visor. It looks like the bulb is bad from shipment. The top heat shrink (?) is loose and the LED rotates around. You guys are sending another out now. Thanks a million!

Glad they worked that for you. I got a faulty RGB remote and they speed one out overnight and no hassel. DD is a stellar company.
