Hi everybody,
Just got my stang about month and half ago, and noticed have a quarter sized ding on my rear driver side quarter panel. This is my second ding and getting frustrated with all the careless people here. So, what do you all do about your dings? Just let it be? any cheap ideas to fix?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Honestly your best bet is a PDR guy, preferably one who will come to you at work/home. Usually less than $50 per dent, and done in a couple minutes. That's the only way I would ever be able to sleep at night. Super glue on a cork, heat gun followed by ice cube, plungers, all that just sounds like causing additional damage to me.

If I were in your shoes, I'd foot the cost to get them fixed, and master the safe parking practice of being far away from the crowd of other cars, but close enough to not seem like an AHole, parking at least 5 spots away from any cart return, and when possible taking an end spot hugging the end side

FYI...PDR cannot be performed if the clear coat or paint is damaged.
Theoretically, the dent can be repaired, but the area will require a repaint.
So, PDR techs will only work on intact clear coat/paint surfaces.

Mine had a small dent when I inspected it during the purchase. The salesman told me they could fix it so that I couldn't tell it was ever dented. He was right, and to this day I don't know how they did it. The dent was in the door panel without easy access to the under side. I was very pleased to see no trace of the dent when I drove it away. If I ever get another one, I'll surely take it back to the dealer.

What do you do when the paint has been removed? Some tard dinged my door and removed a 2" strip of paint. Have no idea how this was done.

A 2 inch area of paint damage cannot just be "touched up".
The door will have to be professionally repaired and repainted.

Try to choose better parking spots.

I literally NEVER park next to anybody. I am dumbfounded as to how this could have happened. I'm going to check my dash cam footing tonight to see if anything is there. The scrape is 2" long but only 1/8th" wide. Going to try a touch up pen first and if it doesn't work I'll explore other options none of which involve me spending hundreds of dollars on this.

Thanks

Other than being 2 inches in length, the extent of your paint damage wasn't clear.
I strongly suggest that before you use a touch up pen, definitely consider using Dr Colorchip or the Langka chip repair kit.
I have had very good results on my '08 GT using Dr Colorchip.
Don't personally have experience with the Langka process or results.
There are plenty of YouTube videos out there demonstrating both kits and their respective results.

I don't think you will be happy with the results after using a touch up pen.
And trust me...I know the level of frustration you are experiencing.
Best of luck.
