For anybody in New Jersey, I was just wondering how long your car was in transit for. I've got an EDD of 12/16, been stuck in "Awaiting Shipment" since 11/01, and I'm starting to doubt that I'll get it by then.

Honestly rather then going by Cotus which has been off recently I would just ask the local dealer to get you a more accurate date.

Was your dealer able to give you an update?

I am a dealer, so typically i do the updating. Your dealer will definitely have more information, or should at least be willing to get it for you tomorrow. With today being the last day of the month I wouldn't expect it right now.

I had an estimated delivery of 11/21 then 12/15 then 12/22 and still nothing. And my dealer didn't tell me anything. I just knew through COTUS. My dealer in Paramus told me on Monday when I was suppose to get it that my car is sitting somewhere in Pennsylvania and that I would get it any day this week but haven't heard anything. And they didn't return my call Saturday either. Would you know if they actually don't know anything or I just got stuck with a lame duck dealer?

My car was built 11/5. and I was tracking it as it moved across country by asking Rachel (@FordService) for updates. she told me it was in PA the day before thanksgiving. I called my dealer and asked if he knew when he'd get it, without telling him that i knew it was in PA. he called me back and said, it's in Philly, should be here on Monday, after the holiday. Then he called me back two hours later to let me know it just rolled off the truck at the dealership... i think the dealer's have the same insight into the delivery schedule as we do...

It gets difficult for anyone to guess when it gets off the train. The rail lot in Philly is huge.It is up to the trucking company. Mine sat there for a couple days, but that isn't always the norm. But once it is there it is almost home! Congrats on your car.

COTUS is not an accurate representation of the time frame but rather just an estimate. We do not like to give it to customers because it tends to give a wrong response normally getting their hopes up. :frusty:

My blend/manufacturing date was 1/5. On the 6th I was told the car was Awaiting Shipment. On the 7Th I was informed it was In Transit with a January 26th estimated arrival. Since then I received 3 notices of an earlier arrival and now it is estimated to arrive the 18th. I will see what happens toward the end of the week.
