If I eliminate the TPMS on my new wheel install, how do I turn off the dash indicator?

Yes you can. I did it to mine as i dont run tpms in my aftermarket wheels. You will need laptop, obdlink mx, and free forscan software with licence and modify the as built data for the modual.
Line 726-08-01 0101 0000 0038 you will need to change it to this 726-08-01 0001 0000 0038. That will disable the tpms. So your only modifying one code in the line x0xx xxxx xxxx all the x values stay the same only the 1 is changed to zero.
More info can be found in the DIY section in this forum.
