So... anyone willing to sell a spare pony for a pony (or less?!)
I'll trade you my Pony decklid for your pony car? Sound fair?

I want the US GT logo, ie. without the plastic 'gas cap', but a new decklid seems to be £400+ & I don't want it that much.

What I got...

http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-racing-taillight-panel-molding-gloss-black-2015-2016/p/M16600M/

All in around £160 and that should include duties and taxes with that shipping service.
You'd then need the emblem to go on it.

That said, the New Take Off panels are apparently mint and there have been one or two gripes about these brand new panels...

The new take off ones are so cheap I bought 2 as I didn't know if I wanted the pony or the GT:D

Both were in as new condition, and well packed.... I chose the pony, and solo the GT on for what I paid.... So win win:thumbsup:

Job's a good'un!
Other things to be wary of with the blank panel is that it has no locating holes (obviously) but official Ford emblems often have locating pins, so they need removing. Plus the deck lid is slightly curved and the emblems aren't.
In hindsight it would be a lot less hassle to get the deck lid with emblems already fitted...

Has no one thought of just removing the badge
Filling the holes and painting the panel gloss black
Again, this you will be forced to do if the new panel
You buy from the US gets scratched in transit etc,
It will be blank and you can fit any or no badge,

FWIW, it would not look the same. The panels aren't painted at all but are piano black plastic which has no orange peel like any paint will and hence is noticeably more glossy. I'm not saying that's bad, just different for anyone who cares about that.

I used new takeoff for my GT panel, from memory I paid them $158 and then got stung £26 duty !

Panel was mint and with me in a week so highly recommended.
