So I've got a call from the dealer's Finance yesterday.
Just want to know, those of you that have taken up dealer's finance, at what rate have you been offered?

Dealer offering 4.61%, though almost $1k in 'establishment fees', plus monthly fee of $5, works out no better than Peoples Choice at 5.6%

Mate, very smart choice. When applying for a loan, it not only about the interest rate. Also look for fees and loan feature, eg no early payout fee, free redraw...

Can you provide some details around the terms of the loan? i.e. duration of the loan, any balloon?, any penalties for early payout, etc?

Sure - 5yr loan with no balloon. Immediate pay out is $750 which pro-rata reduces at $12.50 per month remaining on loan term.

Older thread I know - but used the "Search" function and what do you know - don't need to start a new thread...

The finance guy at the dealer smugly told me that he could offer a rate of 6.9%. When I raised my eyebrows and said "wow" - he said "Yeah...pretty good huh!"

I told him no...no it wasn't good...in fact it's more than 2% greater than other quotes. "well I'm sure we could do something...blah blah"

At this point, I don't want to give Ford an extra dollar.

My current car was financed by Nissan Finance. They have quoted me between 4.75-4.85% depending on when the car comes in, with a $300 establishment fee, $8 a month fee, and no balloon over 4 years. Works out to about $1000 a month (based on a $15K trade in) which is less than what I was paying monthly on the Nissan.

Probably a 2017 Mustang GT.
For what it is worth,
I bought the wife Kluger mid 2015. Had planned to just redraw home loan to buy. They offered me finance at 6.5%. said no will redraw home loan to buy. Then offered me 4.3% which was .3% better than home loan. $375 establishment charges and $5 a month administration
