We do not fill any holes, the badge was specifically made to cover the holes. We sold them to retail customers for a short time ad the previous badges are too small.

That is why I asked for pictures. I still do not have my car because they aren't sure what to do.

They are saying very specifically that the badge does not cover the very bottom of the holes and I have to have a sticker or a giant Roush badge.
:(

For right now I am just driving a 50th Anniversary convertible so it's not terrible I just wish this would get fixed. I talked to Will at Roush (very helpful) before buying but he wasnt sure on this....

Better be soon or this car is going to need new rears! :amen:

Actually, saw/felt it for myself on 2 different cars yesterday, the emblem does not fully cover the holes. About 1/2 of the upper hole 'peeks' out past the edge of the badge. You can actually feel it thru the vinyl if you carefully run your finger up the side of the emblem.

They are going to use my car to explore different options for filling/covering the holes while centering the badging on the stripe.

Kyle car to respond to this. I don't want to whine like a bitch but this does not seem logical.

From what I have been able to gather, the measurements of the holes (outside to outside - top & bottom) & the overall dimensions of the Roush badge are nearly equal with the badge being about 1/8" larger. So it should cover the holes, but there is almost zero wiggle room.

Factor in trying to "center" it on the hockey stripe & I can see where things could go astray!

I'm hoping that in my case we can either figure out an easy way to plug the holes or Nathan's Coyote Fender Badge (I have 2 sets on order) will cover them. Also on the hunt for a decent, thin (1/2" or so), black "Supercharged" badge I could sister under the Coyote badge to give me more flexibility in placing them.

I would have preferred the S3 Roush badges, but like Kyle said they no longer sell them. I've scoured every large dealer hoping someone had a pair laying around but no joy :frusty:

Finally we are making progress. Will take some close ups just snapped this walking in to a meeting. First shot with just a custom "Ghost Stripe".

Looking good !! Did you fill the holes or are you going to just badge over them?
BTW - working with someone on some really nice "Supercharger" badges you might like !

Looks great !! Nothing better looking than a black car when it's clean. Badges & new stripes turned out sweet, sucks one of the simplest things you can do turned into such a hassle !

Those quicksilver wheels really make the car. Thought about getting them for mine, but Roush wants crazy $$ for 'em.

Okay time to give props to Steeda.

My car would not hook up at all. Basically if you gunned it in 1-3 you were burning rubber. The two kits I ordered were "Stop the Hop" and "Differential Bushing Insert System".

I opted for the metal bushing. I was worried about too much noise but it seems fine to me. Basically if you have loud exhaust I do know if you can even tell the difference. If anything the car sounds more connected to the transmission if that makes sense. It hooks up at least 70% better now and that's conservative. For those that are wondering about alignment, I had the car aligned at it's zeroed out perfect.
Anyway it will still burn tires but it is night and day trying to manage. With this I do not have the feeling the car is going to do a 180 at any given time.
Couple Pics

And back home!@ :ford:
