Dat echo tho...

I'm finding myself looking for underpasses, tunnels, viaducts, and buildings close to the street so I can hear the echo. It's getting to where I take completely illogical routes so I can get some echo satisfaction. I'm even slowing down and downshifting when I'm next to a large van or panel truck to catch a bit of echo when I have none of the above nearby...LOL

Is this abnormal???

I'm guessing no?

I naturally started to do that once I got my GT, my fiance thought I was a nut job, just randomly flare up my gas in tunnels... After a while we drove past another GT with an exhaust system, and guess what he does as soon as we went under an underpass? Rev-ed it up. So I think it's what happens naturally to people.

Minivans doing 50 in the left lane of the Expressway. The sound only lasts a second but damn it's worth it.

I think part of it is that I don't get to truly hear the sound of my MBRP exhaust when I'm driving. People say it sounds awesome but I never get to hear it. I need to get someone else to drive it while I stand nearby and listen..lol

A guy in a ratty old pickup paced me on the road monday downtown at about 35mph and says

"heeey buddy! that thing sounds good!

"Oh, thanks!"..

"hey buddy! does she run as good as she sounds????!!

"Sure does!"

...then I used his truck to hear some echo..LOLOL

A buddy was riding with me and I'm always telling him how much attention the car gets. I don't think he fully appreciated until that moment.
