Just got mine permanently installed!!! Ran the power across the top on the passenger side, down the inside of the A pillar moulding, under the dash, under and inside the center console. I was gonna re-terminate the power to the 12 volt power in the console/armrest, but decided to just plug it into the 12 volt. it has an extra USB power port anyway, so that's a +...

I used my dremel tool to make a little slot on the console for the power, as can be seen in the second pic...
