Is there any major difference between having cut out before or after resonator? I was told removing resonator only gains you maybe 2-4hp, is this same with cutouts before resonator?
I ask as I ordered Xforce 2.5 cutouts that are meant to be places between resonator and muffler. I was thinking of actually putting them before the resonator but I didn't take into account I have mak performance mid pipes which are 3" which these cutouts won't fit into. I would have to order new 3" cut outs and wait for them but is there any real difference that anyone may know about?
Other than the Mak mid pipes the rest of the exhaust is stock if that helps.
I want to get your guys recommendation on whether I should go ahead and get the 3" cut outs and put them before the resonator or just put the 2.5" I already received right after resonator? Thanks for your input in advance boys!
