OK so I took the car out for another test drive today, and there is definately a drone sound coming from exhaust. Could this be a mid-muffler delete or a resonator delete?

How would I fix the problem?
It all depends on your goal... I also don't like a lot of exhaust noise. But it sounds like someone may of spent a lot of time and money on what could be a performance exhaust and possibly other mods or even a tune of some sort!??
You may want to price a complete OEM exhaust system? And if it is affordable, go back to stock...

Can you get us some photos of the exhaust under the car to see what exactly is going on under there? I’m confused with the mention of an x pipe and gt exhaust.

Pix would be very helpful. I am running a stock tune with Airaid intake tube, free flow filter, and upgraded intercooler. My exhaust has deleted resonator/CVF Y-pipe, stock mufflers but with larger outlet pipes with 4" tips. On a totally cold startup there is about a 2 second duration resonance that disappears completely and I never hear it again until next cold startup. I have absolutely NO drone at any highway speed or rpm. My exhaust is only very slightly louder than total stock - barely perceptible difference. I will say the resonator delete seemed to improve engine response some - particularly in low and midrange.

Really curious why Silent's car is exhibiting droning, based on the experience with my car........
