The convoy company keeps changing my expected /date/time of delivery. First it was suppose to be yesterday afternoon, then today in the morning, now hopefully this evening. Worst part is that my current lease (Elantra) ends this Wednesday. If I can't trade the car in, I'm going to get stuck paying all my mileage and wear/tear to the Elantra. FUDGE!

Thanks everyone for letting me blow off some steam. You guys and the wife are the only ones who understand. Like I said before, of all the problems in life this is a great one to have! I need to remember that...now... WILL THIS CAR EVER GET HERE!!!!

Called my dealer and he said he didn't expect it until the end of the week (which is what COTUS says). Plus that he wouldn't be available until Saturday even if it did come in tomorrow.

Do I have to wait for him to be there to pick it up??

Your sales guy? absolutely not. I'd call and ask for the sales manager and say "hey this works for me..."

It's the sales guys job to work for the customer, not the other way around.

You don't NEED a tune with the cat back exhaust, but you do NEED a tune with a CAI. I'll personally wait until I get the CAI to tune it vs after I put on a cat back.

You'll see major gains tuning a bone stock car.

Ok... good. I did already email him and asked who could take care of me if it did come in and he wasn't available. No reply yet.

I took care of all the pre-financing stuff already.
I have X-Plan, so no negotiating there.
$750 EAA coupon.
Trade already valued at $18,300 (they better not try to drop that amount).

I should be in and out in less than an hour...

I didn't say you wouldn't. I just said you don't NEED to tune it if you go with a cat back. Where if you go with a CAI, you MUST tune it.

If you want to tune it once before getting your CAI and again after, more power to you. (pardon the pun)

i am totally on this with u bro.. 6 days... and the deep** are tellin me ur car will be on time...

how the hell... either cotus is nonsense... either der somthin bullsh*** with the person incharge if updating this DB... that sometimes for randow people he doesn..

I'm relieved to see that i'm not the only one completely obsessed with my car arriving. I cant seem to get anything done at work these days.

I called the 800 number listed on COTUS and apparently my car is sitting in Delaware with no ETA listed. So close, yet so far away... :(

yes im in the no ETA camp as well.

if you ask your dealer to check the car's status on their vehicle visibility tool, you'll see that the railcar is moving, but the ETAs on the right column are TBD and N/A

i believe the reason is that the rail company's ETA tracking system just doesn't have info for certain routes.

mine is better.. ETA 6 days... no transit info... yet ford claims in mail tat it will delvered on time..
