Wait I'm confused. If I have a build date of 10/23 (like you Trooper), should I go into production at the same time? Mine got changed to a stock order though. Also is the build date the date the building of the car is started, or completed?

Your car should enter production this Thursday. Since you already have a build date I don't think that it being stock or retail matter. I believe the build date is the date that it's completed.

We'll see our dates in the first box Thursday morning... around 11am or so.

The date in the first box is called the "invoice" date in the source code, and that's the date the car is "sent to the plant". It'll be completed around the 23rd.

So when the 10/21 date shows up in the 'in production' box the car is essentially built? And if it's built it's near or even out of the back door of the plant? And if it's outside the plant it's only a train ride and a short road trip to my dealer, right? Right? I'm right, right? :faint:

Hoping for some good news

Got word from my dealer that the zone manager with ford said we should see movement after the 16th . Seeing that my car was ordered on 5/22 and the compatability issues are now corrected I hope they bump my order up so I can see my Mustang before Christmas.:ford:

I'm hoping that those of us that saw a 10/17 build date but retained the 10/26 build week are in line soon. I'm also hoping we were bumped up 10 days because our cars are outside of the constraints and parts could be available if builds going into production sooner than ours go as planned. Again hoping, but at this point, I am happy to see us retain a late October date vs early Nov or later as initially seen.

Obviously I am anxious for my car, but I'm really excited to see people actually getting theirs and others moving forward on cotus. Here's to hoping we see some movement soon.

I didn't know this either lol, I thought they would just BEGIN to start working on my car on 10/21.... I never knew their goal was to have it done on 10/21 so yeah, basically your car SHOULD be ready to be shipped a day or so after its built...

LET US PRAY WE GET OUR CARS SHIPPED FAST AND THEY DONT SIT THERE...
