Sorry but this is a waste of time....until they UN-restrict the GT350RC it is not competitive..IMHO...but by all means watch it if you are rooting for Rumbum....not that you would..

I think they've looked pretty competitive. couple poll position starts. couple wins. Rum bum is a great team and they have a killer car too. but those Stevenson z28's suck haha. I just like watching the racing personally.

They were competitive yes !!! before the restrictions.....hey at least Stevenson won the last race...great strategy on the pit stops....Im talking about the car's performance, not blind luck on "banking on a pit during a wreck", or etc...When a v6 pulls away out of a turn, from this car its bull crap..I will watch Lawrence Welch reruns before I watch another race...:frusty:

Any rig that takes that much of a penalty out of the mid season gate like Multimatic did shows what they were doing. Shame on on the series for restricting a car like that and watching a Nissan pull up on it at Road America on the straights :(

I'm actually excited to see/hear a track 350r in person. C'mon Donson, they were just down in Austin too. I'll wave a flag at the esses in Braselton ;)

The last 3 races the Nissan and the Porsche especially the Porsche, on this last race... PULLED and I mean PULLED away, so fast that I thought for sure the GT350R was having engine problems....it was that bad..when you watch the race or races you will see it...

damnit. is there a series where they don't neuter the voodoo engine?
is it the weight of the cars? I know the Porsche is probably substantially lighter..as is the Nissan. I don't know the rules. I just assumed the smaller cars had either v8 swaps or turbo engines. ill look into IMSA regulations.

That's because there aren't specified power ratings. Cars can be dynoed to check and see if there is something wildly funky going on, but that's it. This is because the BOP can constantly be changing, to which includes intake restrictors, and that the engines are to be "factory". The best you can do is look at factory power and assume 10-30hp (depending on the engine) more with less restrictive exhaust and a race tune.

You're right. They sucked at COTA. Took pole and finished in 2nd place.
